Bhedaghat- The ghat is one of the top tourist
attractions in Jabalpur, located at a distance of about 25 km from the main
city. The place is one of the popular picnic spots in the area, where tourists
can also enjoy boating along the holy Narmada River, while sailing between the
gleaming marble rocks. The Bhedaghat is also a popular site for Bollywood
movies, as over here films like Jis Desh Me Ganga Behti Hai, Ashoka and few
others have been shot.
Dhuandhar Falls- The falls adjoins the Bhedaghat,
located at a distance of about 2 km from Nauka Vihar from where you can take
auto rickshaws or one can also hire a taxi from the Jabalpur town to get the
site. The waterfall is very much popular among the tourists visiting the city. At
this spot, the Narmada River falls from a great height, the sight of which
allures every visitor. The fall is set amidst a beautiful setting surrounded by
lush green trees and shrubs. Tourists can take a refreshing deep in the cool
waters of the waterfall, click photos or just relax amidst the scenic and
tranquil surroundings of the place.
Chousat Yogini Temple- The temple is located between
Bhedaghat and Dhuandhar. Chousat Yogini temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga.
It is a prime religious destination of the place that comprises of around 90
skillfully carved statues of Yoginis, the attendants of Goddess Durga. Inside
the main shrine, you see the image of Lord Shiva and Parvati riding on Lord
Nandi, the bull. The temple is open from 7.00 am to 8.30 pm.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the place is during the winter
season, i.e. during the months of October to January. The temperature of this
place during this time of the year ranges from 4 degree Celsius to 29 degree
Celsius, which is perfect for enjoying various outdoor activities at the place.

By Train: The Jabalpur Railway Station is well
linked with various major cities in the country, like Kolkata, New Delhi, Chennai,
Patna, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Bhopal, Ahmadabad etc.
