Coimbatore a Lovely Place to Visit for Memorable Tour





Coimbatore is a lovely place to visit, if you want to enjoy the celestial beauty of the nature
and the lovely surrounding covered in the veil of greenery and rich flora and fauna.  There are many astounding places to visit and if you are here you can check few of these wonderful places on your tour. 

Black Thunder Theme Park
Located amid the woods with the picturesque backdrop of Nilgiri Hills, Black Thunder theme park is Asia’s number 1 theme park. It is a lovely theme park spread over 65 acres of land and offer exciting opportunity to enjoy both adventurous and thrilling rides. It is located at a distance of 41 kms from Coimbatore.
Entry Fee: For those under the ages of 10 yrs Rs 400 and above that Rs 450

Kovai Kutralam
Located in the Western Ghats Mountain, the picturesque waterfall originating on the Siruvani hill ranges, is located at the distance of about 30 kms from Coimbatore. The Siruvani dam is also above the waterfall and is under the control of the Forest Department. To visit the falls, one has to take permission from the forest department. 

GD Naidu Museum
Named after a well known inventor, who was drop out of primary school, GD Naidu Museum is well knonw museum as well as an attraction in Coimbatore. He has invented so many useful instruments and one can still find those in this museum. Apart from that, the Museum has good collection of electronic, electrical and scientific devices and gadgets from early to the recent times. 

VOC Zoo and Park
Located very close to the Nehru Stadium Complex, VOC Zoo is situated in the heart of the city of Coimbatore, next to Nehru Stadium Complex. It has few well known animals and birds that are found in the region. 

Ramayana Theme Park
Located in Ramakrishna Missions campus in Palayam in Coimbatore, Ramayana Theme Park is neatly maintained park with themes and incidents that occurred in the Ramayan, an epic story that has high importance among Hindus. 

HA Gass Forest Museum, Coimbatore
Located in the Forest College Campus in R S Puram Coimbatore, the museum has good collection of animals, birds and various other species of plants. The museum is well maintained and has many posters that give description about the animals, birds and the plants. It also ask various question on conservation of forest and animals. 

Palamalai, Coimbatore
Not many in Coimbatore visit Palamalai except those some regulars who come to the temple to offer prayers and aarati. Well known more for its temple, the place atop a hill is quite interesting to know about the nature and the village life. 

Azhiyar Dam and Garden
The very first view of the dam and the garden is going to cast a magical spell on the mind and heart of the visitors. The Azhiyar Dam is located at the foothills of the Valparai Mountains and the nearby garden is well maintained that rules over the heart of the onlookers. 

Monkey Falls
Due to the presence of the mischievous monkeys all around, the falls very closely located to the dam is so called Monkey Falls. The fall is blessed with beauty of nature and one can have wonderful time enjoying the lovely view of the falls or playing with the water that cascades gently downwards. 

Pallakkad Fort
  Located some 45 kms from Coimbatore, Palakkad Fort is one of the intact forts in Kerala, which was built many centuries ago and later it was strengthened and structured to its present form by Hyder Ali. 

Rock Garden
