Mayong Village the Alchemy

Assam the land of tea, land of vivid culture and diversity amongst the 7 sister state Assam
is considered as most prolific and beautiful. Situated at the north eastern part of India Assam is well known for its exotic varieties of tea and beauty as an asset.

Guwahati as a capital of Assam this state has been a spot for tourism for many years much famous for its Kaziranga National park and famous Kamakhya Temple but if I say Assam is famous for its Mayong village a pristine village, a village of alchemy and a village of sorcery.
Over the period of time we have been continuously hearing about Mayong Village, what is Mayong village and why it has come to the point of attraction when Assam has many other things to look for well an answer is very simple Mayong village is known for its illusion some calls it black magic, a witchcraft or even necromancy.

No matter what the situation is like but this place a village of devilry has been a place of tourist spot, has been a spot of an enigma and it is quite amazing people are finding their interest at the womb of Mayong village.
Mayong is 40 km away from capital city it falls under the district of Marigoan. Mayong the name as discussed has its own importance some say it is derive from the word Maya (an illusion) village is well known as Indian capital of Black magic.

Mayong has a very confiscated and peculiar history very close with the history of Manipur people. Mayong name some say is a sacred part of goddess shakti and had been associated with an epic Mahabharata.

There are many miscellaneous and mysterious facts about Mayong.  government employee who had its transfer at the village of Mayong  he was invited for a dinner everything was very perfect and delightful however an employee asked for a chilly and a guy did some magic gesture and chilly came hopping to the plate this are some past incident and immortal incident of the history of Mayong magic.

Some more incidents like disappearing in thin air, being turned into animal and treating a fury of lion as a child play are some of the chronicle of witchcraft of Mayong village.

Chura bez is considered as a legend of Mayong witchcraft and sorcery and this all fascinating stories are asking the tourist to look inside the story and cover the fact is it supernatural or superstitious of Mayong people and this has led to the growth of tourism.

Although it is a hilly area the government has done a lot to improve and the result as far as the record is concern is very good people here enjoy as a tourist and explore a lot.
As far as the modern day people are concern the people nowadays are not engrossed as before leaving one men Septuagenarian Basanta Nath.

Mr. Nath still carries a strong believe but the generation Mayong has changed along with the time a civilization of ancestor is not to be denied completely cause it was a art but modern phenomena leaves us with little scope to actually believe in it.
